Healthy May

I'm going to be brutally honest.  I weigh 68kgs.  A year and half ago I weighed 55.  For the past 9 months I have been hiding behind the fact that I have baby weight and that it was OK to be a bit heavier, because I had an emergency c section, and a new born baby, and I stopped working.  These are all legitimate excuses, and for the first few months I thought nothing of it....'It will just come off, I will be back to my old self in no time!'  Well baby weight that time has been and gone.  It is time to do something about it!!
I have tried a few things over the past few months, the protein only thing, the not eating much thing.  Nothing is working.  I fluctuate between 67 and 69 kg.  

So.......I have decided to just try and be healthier in every way I can.  Eating better, and exercising more.  Can't be too hard, right?

One of my favourite blogs from NZ, Here Comes the Sun has started a link up about Healthy Eating and Exercise.  30 days of better living.  I need to be accountable for what I am trying to achieve, So I am going to blog about it.  Once a week I will put an update here on the blog.  Share my highs and lows and a few recipes I find along the way.  
I have also just downloaded My Fitness Pal on my Iphone to keep track of my calories and exercise. My user name is linley81 if you have the app as well and want to be friends!  The Fitness Pal website is awesome too.

  2. Oh you got me - I think I'm doing that too... 'still post baby, it's ok to still eat naughty things'! Actually that was 8 months ago and it's high time I got healthy too. Thanks for the nudge. x
